I spent quite a bit of time thinking about what exactly I wanted to bring into the world and what needed to be said. My work deals with the topic of women's rights and oppression. The title “Speak your truth” is intended to refer to women who don't dare to speak the truth or share their experiences. My picture is meant to draw attention to this and raise awareness of women's rights.
