Jealousy Is Blind

We chose the topic of femicide because we believe that violence against women, especially by people close to them, is not given enough public attention. In many cases, we only hear about the headlines, but not the stories behind them, and we wanted to draw attention to the fact that jealousy, control, and possessiveness can have deadly consequences. It is particularly important to us that this issue is discussed because victims often do not have a voice and the number of unreported cases is much higher than the figures we read in reports.
We wanted to show how a relationship can develop when warning signs are ignored and how important it is to seek help and respect boundaries.

This topic fits in with Pics4Peace because the campaign gives young people the opportunity to creatively portray social injustices and thus make others think. Through our film, we want to contribute to raising awareness and encourage open discussion about violence and equality.
