For International Women's Day 2021, on March 08, the "Main-Post" asked successful women about the prejudices they had to fight against. There were six women who have been in business, science, politics or even sports in their lives, some in several fields. One of them was our chairwoman, Pia Beckmann. A Doctor of Philology, former politician, mother of 4 adult children and entrepreneur, she is familiar with a whole host of misogynistic slogans, which she has also had to experience herself. But she is not discouraged by this. It is all the more reason for her to stand up for disadvantaged girls and women. She wants girls and boys, women and men, to be equally involved in all decision-making bodies in all areas. "Because we will only solve the world's problems together. To succeed, we need all the expertise," she is convinced.
