Installation of 1,000 Odysseys

Yesterday and today, Winfried Muthesius installed his works. The photographs in the exhibition were printed on transparencies and unfold their effect in the urban space. They are aimed at everyone. In addition, QR codes have been attached, which provide information about the exhibition 1,000 Odysseys, the biography and values project 1,000 Experiences, and everything that happens at #endlichankommen.

Yesterday, installation began at the Mainfranken Theater. With its long glass façade covering the entire building, it is the largest exhibition space.

Then it was on to Domstraße. Customers can view the images from inside the Sparkasse bank next to the town hall. At the same time, the transparency of the films allows structures and colors to be glimpsed from the outside. The image at the ATM is particularly impressive.

Finally, today it was the turn of the Dompassage – thanks to the windows of the Museum am Dom and the theater hall.

In the summer, the museum in the Kulturspeicher am Main will be added, providing another highlight.

During the installation, many passersby stopped to talk to us. They asked questions, which we were happy to answer. The works themselves also encourage reflection. With their focus on structures and color, they invite viewers to take a closer look. Because often the truth is hidden beneath the surface – and that is also the case here.

You can find out more on Sunday at the project launch with a vernissage at 11:00 a.m. at the Mainfranken Theater.
