The main characters, Anna and Robert, are both part of the school community named after Anna Pröll. And in love with each other. But then everything changes. Robert gets drawn into a gang that terrorizes the others. Violence and oppression now dominate his life. Anna is shocked. She doesn't recognize her Robert. His personality - completely changed. He suddenly turns against his old friends with violence and exclusion and is completely under the spell of the gang, which continues to manipulate him.

But Anna does not give up. In fictitious letters to her school's namesake, a former resistance fighter in the Third Reich, she writes her grief from her soul. Anna Pröll, who fought against oppression and injustice as a young girl during the Nazi era, is her support. Today's Anna also succeeds in building up her self-confidence, joining forces with the others and finally winning Robert back.

The children and young people embody their roles convincingly. The audience acknowledges this with applause, startled "oohs" and delighted laughter. They suffer with them; they are overjoyed when love wins out in the end and they manage to win back the robot-like Robert

Playwright Wolfsmehl also looks back with gratitude on his time with the theater kids from the Anna-Pröll-Schule. There were highs and lows that year. But together they overcame all the challenges successfully.

Thus, our third joint theater project after Augsburg and Dachau, part of the federal program “Kultur macht stark”, which we carried out together with the Friedrich-Boedeker-Kreis Bayern in Gersthofen, the Anna-Pröll-Schule and Wolfsmehl, was brought to a successful completion.
